Poisonous Plants
A list of plants that are poisonous to dogs, courtesy of Dorothy K. Christiansen,
(dchristiansen@kiwi.dep.anl.gov)
of the sheltie list. You can find another nice list of Poisonous Plants at the
Tibetan Terrier
page, and an excellent searchable database at the Canadian
Poisonous Plants Information System. The listing at Purdue
also includes pictures of most plants. There's another nice photo page at the English Bulldog page. If your dog (or other pets) do injest one
of these plants, be sure to call the National
Animal Poison Control Center.
