Riddler is probably the most well-known on-line game site. Their favorite sites from their games get the Riddler's Choice award.
Housernet was a neat site just for personal home pages.
Housernet also ran a neat contest where people vote on your page, and if it scored in a certain percentage, you were elected to the Honor Roll.
Not happy with just ONE cool site a day, Ground Zero gives you 5! I was pleased to be one of the first recipients of their award.
The Bacon's Favorites Award is given only to those sites on the internet which have obvious value to the pet and animal communities.

This award from the Tame Beast is not given every day, week, month, or in every category, or just to give an award. It has to be earned...and only a handful of sites have earned it.
Based on content, page and graphic design and overall contribution to those who see it. The "Cool Site of the Nite" features only those pages that are of a non-commercial nature and offer family-oriented content.
I consider this award one of the most prestigious I have won. Each week the webmaster of Net Vet/The Electronic Zoo picks a site that he deems worth a visit, from the many thousands that he has listed. This puts me in very good company! This is also one award that I check recently to see who has won...the sites are always of the highest quality and worth checking out.

Mischief is a Prarie Dog (NOT a Groundhog!) who was very choosy about the pages he listed. He seems to have gone underground for now, but he had a fun website when it was still up.

The Dog E-zine is no longer up, but The Sheltie Page received their top award, one of only three sites that got it.
The Sheltie Page was listed as one of PC Computing's Top 1001 Web Sites.
The Dogpatch Doghouse was a Site of the Week, and has also been given a 4-bone rating.

The Family-Friendly Site Award is for webpages that anyone can visit. While I do believe in free speech on the internet, I try to keep my pages clean and inoffensive.
